Competing at our regional science fair is only the beginning. The Canada-Wide Science Fair (CWSF) is the national championship round, where finalists from Regional Science Fairs across the country meet and compete in a different Canadian city each May.

For students interested in going further, various international programs exists and we encourage our GVRSF participants to apply.

  • Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF)
    The Regeneron ISEF is the world’s largest international pre-college science competition, annually provides a forum for more than 1,600 high school students from over 70 countries, regions, and territories to showcase their independent research and compete for more than $4 million in awards.
  • MILSET Expo-Sciences International
    Every two years, the International Movement for Leisure Activities in Science and Technology (MILSET –Mouvement international pour le loisir scientifique et technique) organizes a science fair in different countries for international participants.
